Piano keyboard that I drew just because I love music. This was a challenge to make the piano keys uniform and yet flow into the wave

My daughter asked for some cartoon turtles. This one was my favorite of the ones I drew for her. He just looks like a fun old guy!

    Hi Tina!
You do have a flair for whimsy, I love those drawings!
I have known doodlers that make cutesy drawings that have absolutely no appeal to me, I think they are just too cliche’ and lack personality. Yours are nowhere near falling into that category. They make me happy.
Perspective drawing is a challenge, every artist I know will attest to that!
I have vision in only one eye and my entire world is two dimensional, so I think I have perspective down pat, Ha Ha! (not)
    Keep sharing please.

The whimsy is so much fun! I’m so glad they make you happy. That is certainly my goal. They take on their own funny personalities. I just never know what they will look like when I’m done. Thanks for the visit. Please feel free to leave any sketching you have done. I’d love to share it.

Hi Tina, I enjoyed reading About you and viewing your sketches. Great how you find a variety of places and situations where you can draw! Seeing how drawing makes you feel, it´s easy to understand why having your sketch gear with youa t all times, is as important to you as cell phones to other people.
You wrote you don´t think you´ll ever make a living off your sketches. Possibly you can make a step in that direction. Perhaps you could draw for others the way freelance writers write for outhers. For example the (online) post card companies, like Halmark. Or book writers or publishers of children´s (text) books. Just an idea.
I wish you many hours of drawing pleasure.
    Kind regards,
